Then i try to take from Zarh/ManaGunZ/tree/master/pkgfiles/USRDIR/sys/CONFIG CUSTOM file ( There are 4 variations - custom, gx, net, soft ( but as i understand soft is a net now ))Īnd, yeah, it has same adresses as a fisrt tableĪnyway, when i put custom version of SLUS_200.64.CONFIG in ps2iso nothing happened too.Ps2 roms iso archive Extract your downloaded PSX games, if the file in ecm format. Оk, i have read this topic and understend that i doesn't need modify ps2_lf file in HEX ( i have CHECH-2508b revision of ps3, so file of emulator is lf.)Īnd just need put config file (in my case SLUS_200.64.CONFIG ) in to ps2iso folder.īut when i run it, it still have black screen after intro (((((( Use config to fix blackscreen after intro. There is list of compatibility it says Minor textures flickering during FMV. My suggestion though is to wait for the next managunz release because zar is doing some important changes related with all this with the purpose of simplifying its usage
<- extracted from ps2_lf (556 CONFIG files) <- extracted from ps2_lf (788 CONFIG files) here you have the two links with all that config files
but because was originally intended for other ps2 emu types is unknown if that configs are going to fix the games fullyĪnyway. that config data has been extracted and converted automatically to config files by an app, are hundreds of CONFIG files (around 1300 iirc) and all them is official data.
you cant use them unless you take a hexeditor and starts creating the files by copypasting what is written in wikiĪlternativelly, you can download the config files from managunz repository, this ones has been tested successfully (i guess includes all the ones in wiki)Īnd this ones are official configs extracted from other ps2 emus, the PS3 firmware contains up to 4 different types of ps2 emulators and some of them contains config data embedded in them. The purpose of them is mostly to serve as an explain of how the ps2 CONFIG commands works. The notes in that wiki page points to another wiki page where you can see some examples of config files, a big part of them are from official "PS2 classic" games, and some others was hand made (and successfull), are this ones:
There are a lot of things related with CONFIG files for PS2 emus that are still under research, that said.
